A menu is an operating boundary as well as a customer-facing list. It defines what is offered, when ordering is allowed, and which fulfilment choices apply.
Keep the offer explicit
Products, variants, modifiers, availability, fulfilment settings, and ordering cutoffs are configured before publication. Server validation remains authoritative at checkout.
Preserve accepted context
Publishing a revision affects future selection. It does not rewrite the item, price, menu, run, or fulfilment context already accepted on an order.
