Confirm merchant provider ownership
An authorised merchant connects an eligible Square or Stripe account. Confirm the legal business, supported market, payout account, provider permissions, and staff ownership before enabling checkout.
Two payment relationships exist: the merchant's provider processes shopper sales, and OrderPay bills the merchant for software. Configuration, ownership, fees, and exception handling must not be blended.

Test success, decline, abandonment, duplicate submission, delayed webhook, replayed webhook, refund, dispute, provider outage, and reconciliation recovery in supported test environments.
The checkout notice should identify the merchant as seller, the connected provider as payment processor under its terms, and OrderPay as the software layer. Raw card details stay in provider-controlled components.
Confirm the merchant's OrderPay plan, trial eligibility, payment method, fee calculation, invoices, tax configuration, failure handling, cancellation, and reactivation separately from shopper payment state.
